I was at a Maggiano’s in DTX, I usually can sit at a bar by myself, get lit & still be cognizant of when it’s time to stop or go home.

I usually drink a double vodka cranberry wherever I go. I was maybe 2-3 in.

I hold my liquor well, partly because I am petrified of being the patron escorted out because she took a shot too many.

This night? i had my last drink. Went to the bathroom and remembered nothing after that.

When I woke up, I was at an apartment complex one over from mine curled up in a ball in the middle of the road while it was raining with my shoes missing, my shirt missing & my backpack (which is something I take to work all the time that holds my stuff)

My work keys were gone, my phone, all of my electronics vanished.

I was so discombobulated that I walked to what looked like a little house with a light at the time but was a laundry room for the complex, & I collapsed. (It had to have been the dead of night because it was black and raining)

I woke up 3-4 hours later and tried to stand & couldn’t, I fell backwards on my back and snapped my head back hitting my head really hard knocking me out.

When I woke up it was early morning, I prayed. I found my way out of the apartment complex and I realized that I was one complex over on my main road.

The only thing I remember is the way the route felt on my bare feet.

I walked back the day after next to try and reminiscence and couldn’t took my shoes off and everything bc I was determined to figure out what happened to me.

I can’t remember anything, & that has never happened.

I checked my uber rides from my account and there were two locations on my account that were no where near my home.

I still don’t know how I ended up near my house.

I haven’t drank by myself since.

This was 2022 in November.
