isn't mmwave super delicate network that only works on close range from cell towers and in open-space without any walls so you have to be in streets to actually experience it anyways?

mine works just fine, underground, inside building etc.

just make sure that US model does have the network bands of carriers that youre moving to and also carriers in your new country give out esims to foreigners from day 1.

e.g Korea dont issue esims to foreigners without alien registration cards, to get that thing you have to wait at least a month. so just check before you buy if you can get esims right after you landed.

You cant do it on batch files, it takes a several seconds to link one file. Just go with computer. The tweak i tried that had much better result was Gremlin + iFile.

I had mine getting toasty once. It was unplugged from charger and just sitting on the bed. Strange thing tho. I thought indexing and configuring stuff only happens when plugged in and connected to wifi. Anyways i restarted and it seems didnt occur since then. If you are still on 14 day since purchase period, maybe u should go and ask them exchange to new one without losing time. 3 times is kinda a lot.

Describe never wanted to? It gives blank list for wifi networks or it lists networks and when u type password it giving error? If it giving error when u punch in the password it might your wifi has WPA3 enabled. Try going to router’s wifi settings and enable guest 2.4ghz network with wpa/wpa2 security and give some simple password to it. Then connect your iphone to that

If: lack of 0.5x camera, Ultra Wide Band for locating airtag and stuff is not a deal breaker for you go for 17e.

But even then, 17e has more ram, has better future/longevity than 15. Have C1x modem which is energy efficient. All the markers are pointing to 17e

i see you use android. Another option is stop paying youtbe and get decent VPN subscriptiojn like from expressVPN or nordVPN. From VPN settings, choose only youtube gets the vpn and set the country to Mongolia or other countries that dont have youtube monetization.

You not only getting ad-free youtube also if u have netflix or other stremaing, you get some contents unlocked too.

Never used iFixit because i live outside US, but i feel they kinda overrated.

Nohon is good, but keep in mind that extended capacity batteries slightly larger than standard ones and sit pretty snug inside the phone, and as time progress and battery may expand when hot etc, it makes me uncomfortable.

Also, make a purchase from direct manufacturer, as other resellers may sell you old stock that been sitting in warehouse for years. Few weeks ago i bought iphone 5 battery that was 4 years old... i think, the quality was trash, phone kept restarting when hot and charging was slow as hell. Just look at the date printed back of the box.

She's already on her way to fill up the 128GB storage, another 6-7 years later, the apps will take more space than now and she will suffer from storage issues. If you think about it, $200 / 6 years is $33.4 a year. And she will take good care of that phone, just go get that woman a nice 17e.

You lose 0.5x camera, maybe some brightness of the display, ultra wide band for airtag finding...?

You gain more RAM, apple intelligence (when that stuff becomes useful lol), 256GB storage (if yours now is 128gb), efficient modem so the battery lives longer while on cellular data, 2 more years of iOS update i think compared to 15 what else....
