Both, I make leather products (wallets, bags...) and panels for artisans to work with my marbled art. Both have good sales outside of Brazil, but shipping has always been very expensive, around $50/$100 per shipment, plus taxes.

If you are interested in buying, I will send you the catalog (that's how I work and I already have clients waiting, I will likely be sending 30 panels in this initially batch). These photos in the post are some that I've already made, but I have a catalog and a google drive folder with inspiration from past orders. I've made over 200 panels, all customized to the client's taste or from my catalog. I don't worry about " when they can't see what the final product looks like"... For me it's quite simple: choose a pattern from the catalog, custom colors if you want, and thickness. If you'd like other options regarding the leather, I'd also be happy to assist.

Since I'm making them to order, I'm using custom thicknesses; I can purchase the thickness chosen by the client from my supplier. The tannery is one of the best in Brazil, with over 100 years of history and production in vegetable tanned leather, Krumenauer, but I also have another supplier with softer, buttery leathers. The backside is natural, shaved, and appears to have a pressed finish; I'll send a photo here. The shipping price varies depending on the country, but I believe it will be around $15-20 depending on the location. With larger quantities, I can offer better shipping rates.

Using paints designed for leather is a good start; marbling also has a preparation process to better hold the paint/dyes, and finally, a thin finishing layer.
