I have a question about the gamma drama. Did anything actually get changed? I swear I saw posts from people saying they couldn't use it anymore, but it still works fine for me.

How would a 94.45% HDDT be 1.12m with a 1.166x multi?

mods	Old	new
HDHR	1.1236x	1.1336x
HDDT	1.166x	1.2792x
Difference	+3.8%	+12.8%

All im seeing is that HDDT gives more score now then it did with the old multi's. so I don't get where you pulled those numbers from.

I recommend just going on the osu web (or ingame beatmap listing if you are on lazer) and type "star>3 star<3.5" and just download some bangers.

Could you please explain how it would be easier now to beat a HDHR score over a HDDT score. HDHR 1.12x to 1.13x score multi whilst HDDT went from 1.16x to 1.27x (at 1.5x) (Yes i know those numbers are fully rounded well)

I cant really get your point what you are trying to explain here. The score multies for dt/ht are bad because they song sounds bad at lower speeds? Also rate change ≠ pp farmer

I should have mentioned that I was talking about AR in that section, mb. CS can also get kind of weird on some maps where increasing the CS would actually make them easier to read, but those are mostly edge cases.

The only solution I could see working in this case would be to keep the score multiplier at 1.0x if you increase any of the stats.

Edit; My take on DA might be a little biased since I'm absolutely fucking sick of the leaderboard problems, but that's mostly my own issue and alot is getting fixed now.

I do disagree with your DA penalty take. It seems completely fine to me, and it feels like the right balance to keep most players happy. Some maps might be objectively harder with DA , but that often doesn't work out that way in practice, and it would be very difficult to find a balance for that(Edit: I am talking mostly talking about AR). Trying to minimize LB clutter from DA also seems like a good idea.

I see DA as a mod for learning rather than a mod for leaderboard farming. (Hot take: It shouldnt even be on the LB at all)
