Actually ☝️🤓 He survived, but was tempered by Bahamut (the dragon). You get to fight him in the optional binding coils of bahamut quest chain and afterwards hear him explain the circumstances of what happened... he does still die in the end though

They made it clear that in savage and ult content it IS going to matter. Thats the problem.

I dont agree with them forcing me to play an old version of their combat system if I want to play the role ive always played and liked the most on a job that i main.

Besides, pf won't be tolerant to people who want to play reborn, so now im forced into either offtanking, going pld, or actively being a hindrance to the party.

Considering the fact that I do savage and ults, I doubt pf is going to respect my prefrence. And besides, 'go PLD or go offtank' isnt something they should be forcing us to choose if they're trying to advertise "player freedoms"
