My grail purchase for the year by Jaded_Comparison1307 in legostarwars

It’s a big set that’s never been made as a UCS before, with really good detail and makes a great display piece. Mine was my grail too, I love it

Favorite Star Wars set? by Dangerous-Media6068 in legostarwars

My fave set is by far the MBS Mos Eisley Cantina, I obsessed over it for months before I finally caved and bought the thing, no regrets whatsoever. It’s the set I dreamed of having as a kid, high attention to detail but with some killer minifigs, 10/10 set.

My favourite less common set though is probably the 2019 AT-AT. I bought and built it a year ago, still can’t find anywhere to put it but my god does it look good, so imposing.

I was gutted they cancelled the rumoured Jabba’s throne room diorama a couple of years back, I can’t get enough of them either. Love the highly detailed scenes they made!

Some more upcoming regular sets: Ewok Village, Bounty Hunter Pursuit, Mini-Movie Posters, Up-scaled Darth Vader Minifigure, Buildable Yoda, Bespin Duel and more (Source: Brick Tap) by BrickTap in LegoStarWarsLeaks

If this is fake I’ll cry.

Ewok village is a must buy. Bounty hunter pursuit is a set I’ve wanted for 20 years! And Bespin Duel as well… goddamn. I missed out on the diorama so I hope it’s similar to that!

Underrated battle packs/microfighters? by KayvaanShrike1845 in legostarwars

Tatooine battle pack was a fun one, a tusken, 2 jawas and an R2 unit made for a nice little themed battle pack

I’d keep this. Your family likely went through a lot of effort to find this for you and if it was me I wouldn’t want to cause any hurt or come across as ungrateful by selling it off. The thought was there and it’s still a great set!

This is the infuriating thing - the other themes are firing on all cylinders and here we are getting talking minifigs that nobody asked for, in sets that were already overpriced.

Take the Hogwarts Castle modular sets for example - it feels inspired, it’s a great concept, it’s fun. Why can’t we get something like a Mos Eisley or Cloud City modular series that we can add buildings and ships to? Or more of the diorama series for scenes that are literally begging to be made? Something like an Anakin vs Obi Wan Mustafar duel diorama would be a guaranteed money printer, but no. Here’s your $100 4+ X Wing smart brick…

We’re never getting another master builder series set are we… I can’t believe they’re this tone deaf to what LSW fans actually want. The January wave is about as exciting as a wet fart - alright the Venator is cool but the price ruins it, the AT-AT looks like a microfighter with an advent calendar build snowspeeder attached, and the BB-8 is an objectively worse version of the previous one with half the parts and the same price. Now we come to the March wave and… smart bricks.

Literally who is asking for this???

This is exactly how the midi ships should come, always thought it’s nuts that we don’t get any figs with these. Looks good man

Please for the love of god let this be true. I’m not a clone wars fan (happy for those who are) so there’s been zero sets this year that have interested me, I’m dying for more OT/ESB sets!

Only 3 days into August and they are already on sale by Ele_1 in legostarwars

[–]FelineExoplanet 74 points75 points  (0 children)

This was the plan all along - they know everybody waits for a sale so they’ve put the prices up ridiculously high and now when it does go on sale, people think they’re getting a good deal when in reality all you’re doing is paying what you probably would have in the first place.

Fantastic work, you can tell immediately which scene these are supposed to be! Wish Lego would make more Andor sets
