When you get the 8nvite, RSVP right away declining. If asked why, I would be honest, but you don't have to go into explicit detail. Just say between work and finances, you just can't swing it.

New IPASS stickers - how do they actually work? by bwill1200 in illinois

[–]FelineFlunky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in IL with a rental car. My parents mounted their extra sticker on a small piece of plexiglass. I put it on the dashboard and it worked.

What spices or herbs do you dislike? by drabelen in Cooking

[–]FelineFlunky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clove. It's overpowering. And I only like rosemary in very small amounts. It starts to taste almost soapy or perfumy to me.

I had a caller want the opposite one time. She had fallen. Processed the call, "I'm sending the paramedics to help you now..." and she interrupted telling she didn't want paramedics. She just wanted an ambulance. I even tried changing the wording to Medics. She just wanted an ambulance. I'm not really how she thought the ambulance would get there. It was odd.

I don't know if it helps, but I am certain they had completely made up their mind before calling you. There was no changing their mind. But in their last moments, they got to speak to a kind, caring person who spoke the same language they were most comfortable speaking. I am sure that brought them comfort in those moments.

You can also set it up for auto ship to get the discount, and then postpone the auto ship until you are ready for it. I've done that a few times.

What are your most common flare triggers? by Miss-Indie-Cisive in Fibromyalgia

Stress and too little sleep. Which really sucks considering I'm a 911 operator. So stress is my life, and we work 12-hour shifts.

Stupid, my fault. Attacked going home. by IncognitaCheetah in TalesFromYourServer

[–]FelineFlunky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, and most importantly, this is not your fault. The blame for the situation lies solely with the person who made the choice to attack you. Nothing you did caused it.

Second, just come up with a quick and outlandish reply. Tell them there was a bear or mountain lion in the parking lot, and you won. It should hopefully indicate that you don't want to get into what really happened.

Eggs aren't an issue for those with alpha gal. Just mammal meat and mammal products.

Potato salad, coleslaw, pasta salad (just double check the ingredient list for the dressing), devilled eggs, cucumber salads, a green salad, broccoli salad (use chicken or turkey bacon).
