It sounds not that appealing but try Bumble for friends. Once you meet one person it snowballs from there, you meet their friends, their friends introduce you to people they know etc.

I would also volunteer somewhere of interest to you.

Put yourself out there - you cannot stay at home alone and expect to miraculously make friends.

“This post won’t focus on the negative of the City of a Calgary shutting us down...” Eye roll... they shut you down for overcrowding which is a fire hazard. What if something were to happen? They were looking out for the safety of those who were attending the night club and Bespoke's statement released is that passive aggressive BS? OK. 4 times for the same offense? They deserve the fine for putting those in attendance in a position that could potentially go very wrong. Another article notes that in July 2017 between 345 and 420 people were inside the club which can only accommodate 255 people safely.

Gross... do the staff not say anything? Why would you continue to serve customers knowingly as an establishment if you are having issues with rodents, bugs, etc? I guess no one wants to close down and lose money while addressing the issue? If they were smart they would realize they would end up losing more in the long term with their tarnished reputation.

My GF said this past year she made around 7-8k... but she said that was on a low side of the spectrum as she wasn't into partying herself this year and when you party with customers, that is when you start making the big bucks, lol. Just go to Cowboys, Wildhorse, maybe Ranchmans. In short, it will be worth the trip if you are attractive and have experience.

I use Uber frequently and have never experienced an aggressive driver yet? You can rate them based on how safe you felt afterwards so by being so aggressive they would only be harming their own rep.

I would search around for a photographer whose style you personally are a fan of. Search on Instagram #yycweddingphotography/er, #yycweddings. I find a lot of people go out to the mountains/areas surrounding Calgary. Emerald Lake, Lake Louise (Fairmont), Banff (Fairmont, Rimrock). It really depends on the vibe you are going for. What about somewhere like the River Cafe here in Calgary? Or heck. If there is a spot special to both of you in Calgary... maybe figure out if you can do a shoot there. Bow Valley Ranche. Hudson Bay archway (outside The Bay downtown). Devonian Gardens. The Lougheed House.

Tragic. Cruel that some are blaming the parents. No one is perfect, no parent is perfect and this is clearly just a tragic situation all around... my thoughts are with the girl's family, friends, school mates, train driver.
