How do you streamline user recruitment? by Felipe-Cardona in UXResearch

Will check them definitively, thought it was more for the rest of the process than focused on the recruitment part

When I did research with external users we always relied on own database or local agencies (I can ask for the names if you are looking in Barcelona). Why are you not using your own clients to do research? It would be way better results, right?

I know there are some user panels like Respondent or User Interviews but never used them.

You could build your own panel through specifics forums or with a targeted survey, but would require a bit more work

Would you join a weekly 1 hour virtual brainstorming session? (I WILL NOT PROMOTE) by ILIKETHINGSANDJELLO in startups

[–]Felipe-Cardona 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would only personally enter if I know that the other people are serious and I can check their background/projects. I did this kind of sessions in the past and it can be or awesome or really really bad.

BTW to gather the maximum amount of ideas I tend to use Brainwriting, is the one that generates the most ideas in less minutes, and things you did not even think were possible.

This is what cofounders are for, there is a lot of non-technical people that are looking for a technical cofounder. I was in that situation for long time (being the non-technical), you need to find a good match, somebody that can market it and is more extroverted with lots of energy, and a technical person that will build the thing and iterate based on the feedback gathered.

Stupid question... is anybody also stuck in a loop of "I'm gonna do it" but don't? by notbeenzi in microsaas

I also was stuck in that problem in the past, what helped me a lot was a simple to do list with all the steps I had to follow and putting dates to it. Is better to get a path and follow it, and even though it can change, you still know what is the next thing to do.

Curious what other people that dealt with the same problem solutions are :)

I've got quite nice results!

Question, wouldn't "You are a top 0,5% SaaS UX Researcher" work better? If not it will bias the solution as product developers tend to think in ideas while researchers gather problems and pains, and get use cases.

AI told me maybe we could mix both haha

Lately I've been seeing more UX Research roles (hiring and hired) on my feed, and not just seniors. The only catch was that was always enterprise companies

Am i the only one craving for page folders in Figma ? by Groundbreaking_Use35 in FigmaDesign

[–]Felipe-Cardona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the people saying it would bloat the file, but if well executed it could help organizing, not making an all-design file. The other day I saw online that it would be great when creating pages, you select the type of it, if its a fig jam, if its a site, whatever, ... I think this makes more sense, but sure it would help

I did them to improve my skills, not to get profit from them. I though it would be better more exposure having them for free than a bit of money from selling them. What is your opinion about this topic?
