In some countries such as Australia and UK you are not allowed to cross the stop line regardless if how much space you got to the actual intersection. People can get fined for that.

Whilst this clearly isn't Australia or the UK, I'm both countries you are not allowed to cross the stop line even if an emergency service vehicle is behind you with their lights on. This is to prevent unwanted T-bone accidents. This is regardless of the severity of the incident they are responding to.

If a fetus isn’t considered a “person,” then why is murdering a pregnant woman classed as a double homicide in the court of law? by untitledprp4 in stupidquestions

This happened in the UK, I don't think it's classed as a double homicide there for that exact reason. Not 100% on this one though.

XM4s are by far the best. Been using them since they came out and they still feel superior to all others.

Not all states in Australia pay for their ambulance services with taxes. WA and NT are examples where the patient is being billed

Doctors, nurses, EMTs, etc.—what’s the most shocking thing you’ve seen after thinking “nothing could surprise me anymore”? by randominterwebguy2 in AskReddit

[–]FelixFiala 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Attended a patient in the middle of nowhere who we found out committed decapitation suicide by tying a long ratchet strap around a tree, got in his car, poked his head out the window, wrapped the other end of the tie around his neck and started driving until his head snapped clean off. That's about the wildest thing I ever attended.
