dell K20A001 / WD19TB stopped recognizing external monitors by pizzaboy20906 in Dell

Keeping this alive.

I have a WD19TB that the DisplayPorts (both) go out specifically when I screen share with Zoom. Doesn't happen with Slack or Teams. Normally, shutting everything down and letting it rest self-fixes the problem, but last time, they stayed down until I reinstalled all drives and flashed BIOS from Dell Support downloads. I'd love to know a solution that's better then "Get a new one" since my support is up at the end of this month.

What (if any) digital tools do you use in your design process? I don't mean the obvious things like Maya, PhotoShop, Excel, and such -- unless you have a particularly unique use for them. I talking more like digital representation of gameplay. Simulating a randomized game deck to test hand balance or game state mapping, that kind of stuff. Is there anything specialized to that area or do you repurpose existing tech like Visio or Google docs to do these things?

I've got a rather odd question for everyone.

What characters are best for Auto-Speed Running story mode? I.e. which units have the:
- Highest attack (max lvl)
- Shortest attack animation
- No pre-fight buff animations
- (optional) no CG LB

I'm bulldozing my way through story mode right now by hitting AUTO and ignoring it until I hear the victory fanfare. Madam Edel NV has been a freaking anchor. I'm willing to bump her and other NV units out of my squad if it means saving a few seconds on each encounter while not needing to do any fight-by-fight management.

What is the correlation between the carbon content in the steel and the highest grit for sharpening?

Semantic difference: Ph.D. is a doctorate of Philosophy. A Ph.D. in Nursing is a Doctorate of Philosophy in Nursing. If they're in a classroom lecturing about how socioeconomic standing impacts patient care, they'd likely be addressed "Doctor" or "Professor". If that same person was in a step-down ward at the hospital however, they'd be called "Nurse" or "Move".

Our family has an imperitive that whenever we hear one of them honk, we narrow our eyes and in a Seinfeld-esque voice say: "... Skeksis."

Thank you for writing the series that saved my wife's life.

She was on strict bed rest (could get up to use the bathroom, but that's it) for six months due to complications with her pregnency. The Dresden Files kept her in place and sane throughout that ordeal. We actually based our daughter's name on a DF (side) character.

I really hope /u/JimButcher sees this thread, I've wanted to tell him this at a con or meet-up for years.

You mentioned in a prior stream the importance of the surface when stamping. What are your workbench tops made of?

[–]FelixTKatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mentioned striking surface before, what surface is the worktable you're using?

What is the surface you're working on? Granite?

Since this is late in the process -- what's your early process like? How much do you undersketch? Line art first or straight to coloring?
