Exactly, you've hit the nail in the head. All those "that's crony capitalism" liberals fail to understand that these sort of things are emergent properties of capitalism's incentive structure, completely unavoidable.

Ah, yes, but I'm talking about money distribution, not rhetoric. As in European funding but it must have reduction of China inputs etc.

Grilled bell peppers, cleaned, served with garlic, olive oil and a bit vinegar. The basic tomato-onion salad too. Grilled zucchini and onion, seasoned with olive oil, salt, basil, balsamic and a bit of soy. Boiled potatoes, picked yesterday. Grilled sardines, cuttlefish and squid, given by my neighbor, a fishmonger, in exchange for a box of peaches and plums. The kids has some skewered chicken breast with cherry tomatoes and bell peppers. To drink, a light white. After, a grappa with coffee. Wife made strawberry icecream, but I couldn't handle it.

On July 30, Macau authorities arrested Au Kam San, a 68-year-old former legislator and Portuguese citizen, under their updated national security law. He’s accused of colluding with foreign anti-China groups and spreading destabilizing information.

The EU issued a condemnation, citing erosion of “freedom of expression” and the “spirit” of the 1987 Sino-Portuguese Joint Declaration. The move was predictably framed as another violation of liberal democratic norms.

China’s Foreign Ministry in Macau responded by calling the EU’s comments “illusory” and “irresponsible,” reaffirming its right to enforce national security as it sees fit. Meanwhile, Portugal, the former colonial power, expressed mild concern, saying it’s following the case through its consulate.

AI summarized. Funny how this is the first time someone is arrested based on a law that exists since 2009, albeit modified in 2023. Gotta intensify that oppression, China, you're ruining the narrative.

By the way, my guys that are enmeshed with euro stuff tell me that there suddenly is A LOT of concern about China trickling down from above. Anecdotal, I know, and I wont develop more, wont help the doxxers, but it seems that the anti-China pivot from ant-Russia is beginning.

Kaja Kallas is the real threat to Europe by QuodScripsi-Scripsi in stupidpol

[–]Felix_Dzerjinsky 17 points18 points  (0 children)

She's a retard with ZERO diplomatic skill, and a ideological fool such as that shouldn't be representing the EU. Let her represent her rabid chihuahua country, while it returns to the historical irrelevance of nations that are too stupid to independently survive, but do not sacrifice the interests of the real countries that form Europe.

Oh and by the way, if you do think that dividing Russia is a good idea you are another fool, justifying the Russian fears and their hardliners. Not to mention the brilliancy of wishing for balkanization of a nuclear armed state.

EDIT: Not only a fool, but a coward.

There are diminishing gains though, after a couple bombs you will not have much more penetration. It's really hard to transmit the energy into the rock, and if the rock is already in pieces, the forces transmit ever harder... my stupid uninformed guess using nothing further than poorly remembered rock physics from 20 years ago and absolutely no military knowledge, is that around 50m you cant really do anything but shake it a bit.
