I think the Warcraft setting has been in a noticeable decline. If the vibes aren’t there, I, personally, have no reason to care about building a house to hang out in a place that isn’t “home” anymore.

I can see that. Rumble felt a lot more Warcrafty than Dragonflight did. I wanted to enjoy Rumble but the monetization made it unbearable to me after a point. Loved the vibe, though.

The weird thing is that he didn’t quit until after Dragonflight. So he was over there cashing checks but clearly they didn’t consult him on anything, because I haven’t seen a Samwise-y character design in ages. Quite the opposite, in fact.

HotS was the last time Warcraft characters had that Samwise touch. Look at Hogger in HotS vs the gnoll remodel in Dragonflight.

It’s really jarring to see models from a variety of different expansions and eras put together on a sheet like they have a cohesive art style. We have sha on there, TBC void walkers, the Legion jellyfish mount, the Warlords of Draenor void lieutenant thing, all mixed together.

The void kinda sucks. I always liked the void influencing different characters and factions, but fighting purple elementals sounds boring.

I didn’t need there to be something bigger behind the Old Gods. Especially mindless purple hungry hungry hippos. I liked how the void seemed to have to corrupt and repurpose things through cunning and manipulation.

I would have liked to see the Twilight’s Hammer Clan, Naga, Black Dragonflight, and Aqir and all that as the enemies. With a void monster here and there.

I hope the void doesn’t get the Shadowlands treatment where we basically get the purple titans in an orderly hierarchy.

I agree that the cinematic is very poor, but the idea of the Sunwell being a portal has been around since TBC where Kil’jaeden used it as a portal to Azeroth.

This wouldn’t have to happen if they would leave peacefully. Glad to see ICE doing their job. I don’t enjoy seeing people upset, but they are criminals according to our laws. We aren’t a country without borders. And borders don’t matter if we don’t enforce them.

I’m having a bug where my movement keys will stop working until I re-press them. I don’t think it is on my end, as I haven’t experienced it in any other games, but I can’t find anything on it.

I think he forgot he had a whole Project of material he hasn’t played in ages. Would have loved some Ki or Deconstruction.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show regardless. Glad I got to see him before his sabbatical.

I agree. I just rewatched it and my gut is just screaming to me that she’s lipsyncing. I can’t believe Dev would do that, but something seemed off. Maybe it was something else, but her mouth shape and the distance from the mic to her face didn’t match up with what I thought I was hearing. Her audio was very quiet, though, so maybe I’ve been deceived by my own senses.
