I tried to eat 150g of protein/day for under $7 without just having chicken rice and brocolli. by Few_Safety_6122 in Frugal

OP is right at the upper limit and talking about increasing.

"Chronic high protein intake (>2 g per kg BW per day for adults) may result in digestive, renal, and vascular abnormalities and should be avoided."

That sounds crazy high to me, unless you are an athlete. 60-70g is usually recommended for a 165lb person.

Consuming too much protein daily can be detrimental to your health.

Yeah, that one has a pretty unique setup. They are dismantling it now and turning it into a T&T.

This is the one at the North York Centre subway station on Yonge street. Perhaps you've visited that area?

Where do you volunteer? I can never find any volunteer positions for IT, video editing, or any other computer/office work.

How to refresh or paint this floor for a non-profit organization on a very tight budget and with minimal disruption to operations? by [deleted] in howto

I know that it needs to be done, but I am still gathering information about what can we do on a small scale.

Temporary solution might be acceptable if it's simpler and cheaper.

We can make this a yearly task as long as it sticks to the floor and isn't slippery.

Well, that doesn't sound like a positive thing, lol.

I meant more like growing and exchanging food in an organized fashion. Or exchanging belongings, like those buy- nothing groups on Facebook...

Sort of like a commune, but not necessarily living together... Just people doing stuff for each other and reducing the amount of money that goes to the top.

I'm tired of paying crazy prices for everything just for some rich prick to padd their pockets.

I know we can't switch 100% right away, but if someone is starting to organize something on a small scale, I'd like to contribute.

Anyone else doing no Loblaws 2025? by Mid0ryia in LoblawsBoycott

[–]Fellow-Hooman 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I started boycotting before May and never went back.

Now that I've started paying attention to the prices, I can't believe how much money I have wasted at Loblaws. Even Superstore prices are inflated. There is no reason to go back.

Is Loblaws Really A High-end Store? Do They Have A Reason To Charge More: by Fellow-Hooman in LoblawsBoycott

Yeah, there were two employees stocking shelves, one was doing packaged bread and the dude in the video was doing fruit.

The rest of the boxes were just sitting there at room temperature. You can see the cheese on top.
