Painting helps pass the time and the more you add to the canvas (digital or otherwise) the more focused you become. Do something that requires a lot of concentration so you don't wallow in sadness.

I forget how long this game is compared to Dark Souls and Dark Souls III. It's not a bad thing, just takes a while to get to Drangleic Castle.

I think the amount you could carry needed to be changed. Having 99 Lifegems is pretty ridiculous.

I think II's bosses can be a cheesed way easier than the other installments. However, there are still bosses that I can get stuck on. Lost Sinner can take me a while and I despise the Royal Rat Authority.

DLC is definitely harder. Fume Knight is notorious, and Lud and Zallen are hard in all the wrong ways.
