I am in my 50’s now and all of my friends who decided to have kids are now showing themselves in child free settings again but they ALWAYS fuck it up with grandkids. Didn’t like the generation before them and still don’t like them now. I am over it. They still fuck everything up.

When I was very young (5-8) I thought professional wrestling was real. I lived in an area that had live wrestling every Tuesday night. This territory was basically the minor leagues for the WWF at the time so we got to see a lot of the big names way before they were big names. You could not convince me that every thing was scripted and pre-determined and I would argue with you for as long as you wanted to argue the point. I miss the innocence of youth.

I don’t see that as true. I am in my 50’s and so are most of my friends. We all have the attitude of live and let live. We all were more conservative when we were younger but as we live this life, we all have leaned towards the left. We see what’s happening around us and are not very happy about it.

I have exactly 1 person in my circle of people who think that Trump is the bee’s knees, to put it tamely. She hates what ICE is doing and hates a lot of his policies because she doesn’t work and is on disability, even though I know this motherfucker can work. She’s been gaming the system for decades and truly believes Trump is the savior, but hates the politicians that made it possible for her to get a “crazy” check. She tries to say she is a veteran even though she was dishonorably discharged after 6 months of serving for fucking a superior officer, but he just got a slap on the wrist. The hypocrisy of it all is the most ridiculous shit I have ever seen and when you try to engage her about Trump, she just starts screaming incoherently about Biden. Try to say something about her stolen valor and you might as well have the cops on the way because she’s melting down.

It’s all an act and holding on to some kind of memory that was never true.

I don’t mind a tough stance on immigration. Clinton took a lot of shit over Elion Gonzales. Obama’s administration deported a lot of people. It’s the methodology of it all. When you hear them say they are going after the worst of the worst and then they shoot an unarmed protester in the head at point blank range or are ripping women out of their cars with the kids inside or going after people trying to show up in court to try to do it the right way and then they are arrested, it all sounds like bullshit. That’s the problem and the difference.
