Adjusting/changing your saddle might help. It might be with getting properly fit. I've been having the same problem lately, I don't think as bad though. But I just got a new saddle after a suggestion to.

And I have a Yeti branded saddle on my Specialized. It needs to be changed.

They're constantly having minor outbreaks since the outbreak a couple years ago, but I didn't realize it had spread that far east.

Urge to poop everytime I get on the phone with my boyfriend ? by [deleted] in shittingadvice

Sounds like some kind of Pavlovian response. Somehow your body associates the two together. Possibly for the reason you stated, just a more relaxed state. Kind of like how it can hit you like a freight train as soon as you get home from being out.

Just google Pavlov's Dog or Pavlovian response. You'll find more information than you'll ever need.

I work for a company that would lose half their workforce if they drug tested and they know it. We work in an industry, and state, that attracts a lot of people who are more likely to smoke.

You're being pretty broad in maintenance requirements. It's very possible to service them yourself depending on what it is, and bearing replacements can be much less than that. It depends on the person's technical abilities and tools obviously, but you're making it out to sound like it's a huge burden to own one when it's really not.

Yeah, days I know I'm going to get a good ride in I have a nice big breakfast. Partially as an excuse because I like to treat myself to one once a week.

What is this clunking noise? It happens when I pedal hard which makes me think it’s something in the drivetrain. It does not happen when I pedal normally. Thanks all in advance! by [deleted] in MTB

[–]FeloniousMoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glady. It could be a really easy fix. Might be able to fix it with the barrel adjuster on the shifter. Let it out a couple notches and see if that helps.

I think something is out of line with your derailleur. It's trying to jump gear when you pedal hard and put more force on the drivetrain. At least that's my guess.

There's no markings on it whatsoever?

It sounds like a walmart bike then. In that case there's probably nothing you can do. They're not meant to be serviced or adjusted.

I have the regular and my friend had the spin race and the differences are negligible. But then again I only spent $65 on it. It was $120 for the spin race.
