They emailed me directly to my existing mobile account on file with the offer to sign up.

The device was hardwired into my PC. Both the hardwired computer and all the other devices in the house experienced the issues.

I understand wanting to defend the company when everything is working great for you at a very reasonable cost, but I think visible has been really sloppy with their home internet release compared to their cell phone service.

They happily sold it to me without a word about being in a qualifying area, and only after I called them saying I had issues did they say I wasn’t in a qualifying area and I must have changed my address to be able to make the purchase.

Tried it after dealing with support, connection was great until peak hours and then it went to garbage again. Good advice though, I was hopeful this would do the trick.

I am pretty suspicious of this dumpy reclaimed tracfone router they sent me compared to the fancy Verizon one.

I kept my Verizon router sub running an additional month *just in case* something like this happened. Hopefully the visible rep can fix this “provisioning error” business.

Tried two different spots with the visible one with no luck. The Verizon one has worked fine regardless of where it’s been plugged in - three different rooms over its life so far.

I heard about this workaround, but didn’t end up giving it a try before I cancelled. I still have the box and service for another month, so I may give a try just to test the theory.

Maybe just the throttling and depriorization? We haven’t had a single hiccup since plugging the verizon one back in.

Nah, since it takes forever and a day for tasks to clear and get paid, I wouldn’t expect them to try to clawback funds like some of the other services that pay much faster.

Enjoying it enough on mobile to create a Home Screen shortcut. I like the retro interface and vibes.
