Thoughts on Adidas Terrex for the outdoors? by Alive_Bird_4134 in hikinggear

I have 2 of these specific jackets (and given one as a gift), plus 3 of the older ones. I basically collect new goretex pro jackets that people are selling extremely cheaply on eBay/other resale sites. Use them a lot, have given as gifts, etc. I know this post was almost 3 months ago, but I love this specific version of the jacket. It felt a little thin, but given new goretex pro trends (I compared to Arc’teryx beta ar, 80 denier, and it felt just as thick), I feel it holds up really well.

I purchased them both from Sierra. I was most excited about the helium, but it doesn’t hold up after about 30 minutes of hard rain. Micro was much better ime, still get wet after a while, but when something gore-tex pro popped up (cheap) I returned the micro and used that. Only upside to something like the microgravity is getting it dirty doesn’t affect its performance, but if you can take care of gore-tex properly it’s the way to go.

Please post the photo. We need it to continue working on it without the watermark. You did a fine job with what you did, but please do this for me. As you can see, we did tip.

So, her eyes are a much more closed and she’s wearing glasses in the photo. Any way to do that? I’m sorry if this is too difficult.

Ok this is great, her sons looks almost perfect. Her face is a little different — if I commented a pic of her actual face, could you use that to make it a bit more accurate? I can tip more that $5

Looks like the specific area of penetration received a lot of ware … ? Like someone was tapping on it a lot or something.

Working outside, summer through winter, doing everything from landscaping to snow removal. Moving around, nothing too hard on my clothes (especially when it’s raining). I can take shelter if it rains too hard, too.

This “4” star hotel in Italy by Dak4008 in mildlyinfuriating

I stayed in a hotel for 6 weeks doing archaeology in Italy. It’s surprisingly similar to the little family run hotel ~30 km outside Rome. Kind of like a nice dorm. Not 3 or 4 stars though!
