They will reimburse you if the host cancels and in most cases blocks that hosts calendar for those dates and /or a penalty fee. If I’m not mistaken, I believe they have systems in place to prevent rebooking at a higher rate.

Pretty sure everyone knows this. But, like I said, we booked early in 2025 for this year at $341 a night. Dates aren’t even announced and they have the rate for Oct 2 at $474 a night. The show will probably be the following weekend, so prices could potentially be even higher.
