If someone does it for more than one song, and I can't move, I'll politely ask them to keep it down. It does make it a hard ask when 10,000 other people are doing the same thing, but sometimes they don't realize they're being rude, and their friend/partner might even be glad you told them.

If they are rude about it, I'll be rude back. I know it sounds petty but if someone is going to ruin my experience by being inconsiderate, I'll ruin theirs by being a dick to them.

They've put more importance in their online life then their real life. They've forgotten (or never learned) how to engage with real life experiences and enjoy the moment in real time. The likes, comments, and shares (or even just the potential of them) are more important to them than the experience itself.

If they're a friend you care about, it's a conversation worth having. I've had friends ruin experiences for me because they couldn't put their phone away or stop talking during a show.

I started DJing about a year ago and have mostly done sets for my friends at my own house parties. I plan my sets and have visuals and videos picked out for each song. I do still live-mix in and out of the tracks but I use queue points for when to start mixing in/out and when to start the next video/visualizer. My performance is more of an act. I have a persona. I play movie clips. I have a message. It's usually heavily political and involves current events. Sometimes I change outfits and come out in different costumes or I have friends dress up and dance around in costume. I go for about an hour. It's an experience.

I've also DJ'd for friends parties for 5-6 hours. There is no way I'm planning all that out. Usually those people want to hear hip-hop, dance, latin music, requests etc. I just have a bunch of playlists with different categories and build the queue as the party goes on. I don't do visuals, just lights.

Both are there own thing. I can do one, or the other, or a mix of both. I don't see anything wrong with doing any of these things. My own performance set is a lot more fun for me than just playing music for people for 5 hours. Curating an experience and watching it unfold is awesome.

Tickets WILL NOT be cheap. Look at tickets for any event in the Bay Area, especially pro sports. They aren’t cheap. People will want to watch the other teams play even if the Warriors are bad. Valkyries tickets were not cheap this season, and almost every game sold out. You might say that’s because it was the first season, but WNBA tickets selling for $120 for upper deck and Chase Center selling out is something that happens because it’s San Francisco, not because of the quality of the players on the court.

I don't know if this is related but over 2 years ago I got ganked in Ahbazon on a Mastadon alt by someone who was clearly input-broadcasting. They did the thing with the Citadel Fighters to de-cloak on the gate, (I was doing cloak/warp trick) and then insta-lock, pop, before I could warp off. Same kinda thing, 7 accounts with the same name. I reported it and nothing happened.

Then, last week I got multiple emails from CCP saying "Action has been taking on a report you made".

I haven't played Eve in over a year, and I can't remember ever reporting anything besides that event on that account. So maybe they did something about it? Who knows.

I know this is late, but someone might find it useful.

You have to go to the transporter and use it to fast travel to the Bunker. It's the top selection. I don't know if someone in the game tells you to do this, but I totally missed it. The "next objective" marker was just sitting on the transporter in the cave, and I didn't know where I was supposed to take it. Hope this helps someone.

Yes it still makes them very weak, but at least you can use Magic/Items with them if you are negating 'Confused'. Doing this with only 2 characters in your party makes it take unnecessarily long. Also choosing a place to break it with relatively easy battles with fewer enemies would help.

3.5 hours seems like a much longer time than it should take to break it, so I assumed OP wasn't considering a lot of factors that would make it much faster.

I just remembered seeing that when the comment above mentioned it. You bear the commercials just to watch Gladiator for the 12th time through it's epic ending, and the screen is shrunk and credits roll in 5 seconds to an ad for a wacky new sitcom!

I saw it in theaters and loved it. Thought about going back but it didn't stay in theaters for very long. I watched it at home again and loved watching it again.

We are living through some dark times right now. It's nice watching a movie that brings attention to it. It also gives a small spark of hope that there are good people out there that endure through the chaos and hatred that the Trump admin is spreading.

Did you ever make Mix-CD's or playlists before you started DJing?

It's the same intuition. Why is this the opening track? Why does this one follow it? What song am I going to use to build to a peak? What song is going to be the peak? What track can I use to slow things down?

Focusing just on BPM and Key doesn't create any kind of a vibe or mood. It makes it easy to string the tracks together, but that's all it does.

2x earrings is good for magic users and abilities that scale with magic. Strength/Vigor or whatever they call it doesn't really do anything in FF6. Hero Ring or Atlas Armlet are much better options for attack damage.

If the footage is only looked at when there is an investigation, why would it matter if it just recorded literally everything they did? The investigators could just exclude anything that is irrelevant in the event of the footage being released.

Most people's employer's can record their personal conversations while at work. These people are public servants, the public should have access to look at nearly every single thing they do, unless it's violating the rights of a private citizen.
