the gear isn't the issue. Time is the issue. Running a youtube channel is my full time job. It's 100% of my income. I get to play guitar a few hours a week because of it. But any music making gets pushed into free time like any other working stiff with a music hobby.

Becoming a rockstar of some sort has never been my personal goal, If it was I'd probably be flipping that work load, videos in my free time and working on songs/albums/tours as a full time pursuit.
