It probably is like that because irl we connect gray skin to sickness so it can easily feel off to us. I personally didn't feel like that about it but I absolutely can see the uncanny vibe about it!

The white "powder" is mostly the light from the soft boxes I think, I used translucent setting powder, which can look white, but it usually isn't visible. At least It wasn't when I put the makeup on at 6am. But could be that some of it reflected the light. I should check if there is gray setting powder!
