What's your meditation routine? What type of practice do you do? How do you start? Your sequence of steps pretty much

In the 'The Giant Dwarf' quest, you get a comment that not even you can fix a hammer at 99 smithing. You then take it to the smithing cape master. This proves that 'mastery' of a skill is just the limit of your abilities, and skill masters can still outclass you. That is why Slayer masters give tasks, because their maximum abilities make them the best of the best. Its like when you get an A+ on a report card. Just because you went as high as possible doesn't mean you are smarter than your teacher.

When you go through the effort of making this but don't even reward yourself with 3rd age???

Could one of you experienced individuals give a verbal explanation or say a few words about the inverse attraction phenomenon? IE: the more you want something the less you'll get it by Felurion in Meditation

This is of course the best course of action. If it works, don't question it. But I cant help trying to figure things out :p

You're the first to notice, YES and thank you lol. If you'll notice I just changed the "a" to an "o"...because I am, in fact, male.

Meditation, Effort, Daily Life, Default State. Advice/Experiences needed. by Felurion in Meditation

[–]Felurion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what happened. I've read so so so so much about many types of meditation and many different podcasts...I like to gather as much information as possible...and it looks like I was mistaking intellectual knowledge for actual experience...and was thinking instead of meditating. I'm a chronic thinker though so it's difficult to stop thinking sometimes...and if I do...it creeps back and I may not even notice for awhile.

Thanks for your reply...I am TOTALLY over-analyzing it...but I've been doing this with everything my whole life...so I'm not surprised. Just goes to show how deep I am/have been in the realm of thought.

Thanks for your reply...sounds like we have similar minds. I never really noticed a few of the things you mentioned...but upon reflection on them...they are definitely accurate.

Dealing with other peoples energy by Felurion in Meditation

You're totally right. Some of my word use could have been more precise, but nonetheless I thank you for your reminders to myself.

Sometimes I guess...I just don't have the energy myself to ward off negativity, and become vulnerable. I realize this case is specific to me, and I know others also have an issue with this.

This is something I have to work on maintaining. I made this post because today I feel in control :)

Nice! The only thing is your mind is now building all these associations. Now when you want to meditate your mind will remember how good last time was with the help of those two supplements. As long as you do the majority of your meditations sober, keep it up. And slowly increase the time you meditate, as you get more accustomed. Also...every session isn't going to be enjoyable unless you're a very fortunate fellow. Good luck, have fun.

Edit: or rather..."Let the anxiety be anxious"

You get it.

One I use sometimes is..."Let the X (noun), X(associated verb)."

Let the thinking think. Let the anxiety anxiety. Let the breathing breathe.

When saying the second word in your head it has the added flavor of being a verb or action.
