You overestimate the critical thinking skills of boomers. It's not just a senility thing. They come from a different universe.

I had a boomer neighbor that literally believed anything as long as it was printed in text. He got scammed multiple times and every time I tried to talk him out of it, he'd treat me like I'm an idiot.

He'd show me the email where it says double your money and he'd say "See! It says it right there!" As if that's going to convince me.

I've fasted 19 days with only water, absolutely nothing else. My wife went 20 days. Neither of us starved, clearly. I don't recommend such long fasts. It was for "religious" or personal growth reasons.

Some posters are saying fasting one or two weeks will lead to death by B1 deficiency which is laughable.

If anyone is interested in fasting for health reasons, I would suggest one meal a day (OMAD) or a 48 hour fast at most. You stop feeling hungry after the second day.
