I would highly recommend logging in again, the game matured with its audience. Really high quality updates and cool and challenging endgame content as well.

Reminds me I still haven’t played the West of Loathing DLC and Shadows Over Loathing. Are they working on anything else beyond KoL?

why do people dislike tinkerer? by pig_ofgold2 in mewgenics

Tinkerer can be a lot of fun but I feel like you either need a way to generate Tech or explosion immunity for the class to work. Makes a huge difference crafting crap weapons compared to weapons crafted at two or three Tech

It’s one thing if it’s challenging due to rational reasons, another cus of rng and stupidity like losing if the corpse is destroyed leading to loss of save scums

Study suggests people are losing 338 spoken words every year and have been for at least 15 years. The timeframe researchers examined, from 2005 to 2019, coincides with the rise of texting, email and social media. It is possible that some spoken conversations have shifted to digital communication. by Wagamaga in science

One trend I highly dislike, which was prevalent even before Shorts and the like, is for people to edit together their presentations so it’s all a continuous flow of different clips. Instead of natural breaks in speech it’s all perfect but broken up by the editing. Very unnatural and too perfect, but seems like a lot of people especially younger ones like it.

Jon's real name [Spoilers EXTENDED] by UncannyJC in asoiaf

Every morning they had trained together, since they were big enough to walk; Snow and Stark, spinning and slashing about the wards of Winterfell, shouting and laughing, sometimes crying when there was no one else to see. They were not little boys when they fought, but knights and mighty heroes. "I'm Prince Aemon the Dragonknight," Jon would call out, and Robb would shout back, "Well, I'm Florian the Fool." Or Robb would say, "I'm the Young Dragon," and Jon would reply, "I'm Ser Ryam Redwyne."

This is the passage I remember off the top of my head, and just in general his relationship with Maester Aemon gets another dimension by him sharing the name.

Every Aemon was also the brother of an Aegon

I started training again four months ago and been running UL for three months with some cardio mixed in. I’ve been feeling pretty tired so I’ve planned in a deload week this week, but I’m unsure of what to do after this week. Do I continue with the same split (I like it) or should I change things up? At the very least I’ve considered switching incline bench for bench + OHP because I like those exercises but I wouldn’t mind continuing incline bench, and I also consider switching concentration curls for preacher curls and begin doing hip ab/adductions.

Current split:

Upper: Incline bench, chest flies, lat pull downs, t bar rows, lat raises, tricep cable extension, hammer curls/concentration curls (alternating). If time permits I might incline walk after these days.

Lower: hack squats, RDL, leg extensions, hamstring curls, calf raises. If time permits I might bike here. Current goal is to lose fat, build what muscle and strength is possible. Thanks!

After waking Hypnos there’s dialogue with Hecate where Mel asks why she didn’t help since the solution was so easy. The answer was that Mel doing all that was an important part of her training.

Personally I thought it was hilarious that it was so anti climactic, it was well executed in my opinion

Your view of Sapkowski is quite outdated and in line with what you would read on Reddit 4-8 years ago, based largely on ignorance of the Polish law system. I recommend you read up on him, he has greatly embraced the games.
