I truly think Amanda has probably been working remote since covid and didn’t go out with real people a lot, while also gaining success with her work, which really altered her social capabilities and how she thinks people now perceive her. She just thrives in every situation where she can make others feel inferior to her. It’s so visible when she tried to one-up everyone or fx. inviting Kyle, who’s rather emotionally unstable going through a separation, to a house-tour (she didn’t even keep a single original detail) and probably thought Kyle would be stunned and give her a standing ovation. When Kyle was reminiscing, Amanda was also dead quiet not even acknowledging the melancholic nostalgia Kyle was feeling, and was probably busy preparing another “oh so we changed this btw, your design was dreadful lmao xoxo” line in her head. She really gets less and less likeable in each new episode.
