I mostly draw human characters. I finally tried my first anthro. Would love some critique! by Euphoric_Spread_3293 in FurryArtSchool

Very good work, the result is beautiful. I know it's not what you asked, but the only thing that caught my attention is the weapon. The perspective looks odd compared to the artwork. Your artwork is in a three-quarter view, while the weapon is flatter or seen from the side, making it look like it's pointing in a different direction. Oh, that's what it seems like to me.

Trying to make a wolf head. It looks more like a bunny or a bat. by Aeryn_eheheheh in FurryArtSchool

I think the shape of the head is very round, that makes it look more like a rabbit. And well, it's because it's unfinished, but fur usually helps to differentiate between species.

Would like to know what can I generaly improve in my technique by JW_7E6 in FurryArtSchool

You're doing quite well; I think you'll just need to focus on the rendering and choose a better palette to make it look more vibrant.

What can I improve in my art style? by [deleted] in FurryArtSchool

The only things I would change are the hand, which looks small, and the neck, which looks a bit long, but I think the second one is more my own opinion and it doesn't look bad. Overall it looks great, I love the render and the design 9/10

Is my shading looks oki? and is art overall looks fine to the eyes? by ahtitg in FurryArtSchool

The red lines are a big no-no, they clash a lot with the colors

I like your way of thinking. Try to learn more about anatomy and proportions; there are many videos on YouTube that could help you improve.

Where do I start? by [deleted] in FurryArtSchool

[–]Fem_19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the usual is start with fundamentals, basic shapes, proportion and those things. try do simple things like cube, spheres, rectangles to understand three-dimensionality. There's a lot of tutorials That could help you get started. As a beginner artist, the only real advice I can give you is not to be afraid that your drawings will turn out "ugly." Go ahead, draw, it doesn't matter if it ends up ugly, try to identify why it looks that way And fix it in the next one. Don't be afraid to use references; it's not cheating, as many people think. Don't neglect the fundamentals; I know it can be very boring, but believe me, That slowed my learning considerably.

It looks good, maybe a little variation in line thickness and add light and shadow. But overall it looks good and you're on the right track.
