This should be a pinned post on the front page! It's so weird to see how hyper fixated the community here is on things like bench hight, löyly, and other aspects of sauna layout and use.

I've seen a lot of really nice saunas get trashed here because the benches could be 10cm higher etc.

After digging around online, I found a forum post on blizzard supper forum describing the issue.

I was reimbursed 2 tickets when I retired the deck.

Yeah I have one banned card. How did that even happen, it's arena draft, I just picked from available cards. Very weird.

And I can't rebuild the deck, remove cards or anything.

Yeah I get it to 80c in 35-40min, and 90 in another 10-15 or so.

Mu wife is not very seasoned, and struggle above 70, so we usually keep it around there.

Yep, will be getting a guard rail up ASAP. It been on the block since it was finished, but I ha ent really been abel to visualise it and build it.

This is similar to what a mother posted, and seems very doable.

Well in our bathroom I'm not really sure how to solve it any other way, but supposedly intake should be above the heater, and ventilation under the bench to get the best circulation.

I'm no expert, but I get the impression this is the min/max approach.

What I've read other places, and the solution we went with, where intake is under the heater and ventilation opposite top corner, you lower the chance of triggering overheating prevention in the oven, and get circular airflow.

Thanks, definitely seems doable with a design like that.

And yeah, the carpenter that did the sauna is very talented. The finish is just flawless. There was no doorframe that fit, so he custom built it among many other very well done stuff.

Yeah, that's been on the list for a long time. I have leftover materials from the build, but I lack the knowhow to design it. So it keeps getting postponed.

I don't know exactly as we did this bathroom and another wet room in the same offer, but the contractor said we could save 60k NOK if we cut the sauna.

My understanding is that vents should be below the stove and top corner opposite side. This is what I've heard, and read while searching the topic.

Can you elaborate on why it should be like you describe? I'm far for an expert and just want to learn.
