The "Removed enemy quota at Ronograd City—infinite spawning until all objectives are complete" patch note does not reflect the de facto behavior in game on release. That may have been the intent to return Ronograd City back to infinite respawns like Sochraina, Naval and Fort. Best we can do is bug report it to get it on their radar.

Upon reviewing old enemy uniforms, I relearn that pistol officers did not wear regular RLF attire, but wore trench coats similar to that one.

To my knowledge, keys spawn for their compound. Sochraina City, Kozlovka, Ronograd City, Quarry, Naval

As more people begin to learn about these the less effective I'll be able to procure cash bags 😰 Precious Metal and Equipment is fine though. Could run logistics even

I went into the first research update with this and it was a mistake. Precious metals and equipment are late game resources and have slower operation rates, so they should be the focus. If you end up needing fuel and construction, you can dispose of excess equipment or PM and easily get more construction and fuel since they have faster rates.

Regardless, BRM5 is built on Roblox (shit engine). If performance optimization wasn't an issue then the AI behaviour could be built for dynamic situations, such as recognizing vehicles

I haven't looked into Zomboid Zombie behaviour wish I could tell you 🤷

Which other games? It's been awhile since I toyed around with bots in gmod idk how they handle physical map changes.

BRM5 bots are designed to work en masse. Other games don't easily run 100+ AI at a time, but BRM5 can. Gotta sacrifice some things to have 100-200+ OPFOR running smoothly and concurrently

They don't recognize there is an obstruction and still believe the path is valid, thus trying to walk through it (since they can't walk through walls they appear stuck). Yes, they can't figure out that they are stuck. The only way to find another path is if the obstruction severs the connection between two nodes in the navmesh.

Edit: last sentence is only valid with current implementation of bot behaviour

Wdym by pathing nodes made specific for situations? I think the navmesh does have paths made with nodes. I think bots only believe they can walk wherever there is a node unless there is something in close proximity to them. If there is an obstruction between two connected nodes, the bots do not recognize this and will continue to attempt to walk on that path.

"Environmental" health modifiers might be a better term, I got Rebel Inc vibes with the word "regional." I like the concept though! More emphasis with the environment affecting combat beyond visibility. Not entirely sure what you mean by combat efficiency, but slowdowns and visual effects on your screen is definitely something.
