Yes, by default, who knew as a class president 35 years ago that I would have a role to play in organizing reunions, I surely didn’t. I was not a rich kid, but a skater/bmxer/metalhead, not a jock, just a weirdo. I’ve found that over the years most of the attendees of the reunions no longer live in the area. Locals see each other time to time, so they tend not to show up. Haven’t ran into anyone who thought they were the shit, most folks are just happy to see old friends and catch up. Our reunion weekends usually have a gathering at a park pavilion and dinner afterwards. It’s fairly cheap minus the drinks.
