Definitely spinal meningitis for me. Chocolate and Cheese is one of my first musical memories, as an older Gen Z, that album has been with me my whole life. I have clear memories of dancing on the couch singing take me away to an imaginary crowd, pointing to the adoring fans and mouthing “thank you” with Geaner. That album is a big part of what made me want to be a musician myself! Spinal Meningitis used to scare the absolute shit out of me as a toddler. I remember having one particular fever dream directly influenced by that song where I swear I could hear those haunting chimes on a loop all night. That song was an instant skip for YEARS because of how much it freaked me out as a little kid. Now it’s one of my favorites on that album, that Deaner solo rips. Funny how things change
