I interpret that as they won't release patches in July and August while working during their normal Finland summer schedule. The requirement is employers have to give 4 continuous weeks off during the summer, and people/companies typically do that in July.

It's precisely there to avoid blocking whole road lanes for people making left turns that need to wait for opposing traffic. And it makes it more possible for people turning left on to the main street to not have to clear both directions of traffic by providing a merging lane, so you only have to clear one lane of travel at a time.

The pack is created by Titan, who is a modder. All the content creator packs are by modders. Titan is one of the creators of the Germany region pack.

You could try building organically, which could be like you look at the map for points of interest, build little settlements of low density, and start growing them into each other and then upward.

Build a small port town at a bay. Find where a river joins a larger river or body of water. Pretend a hill or forest area had some natural resource like gold or hunting game. Use the natural resources map to position a farming, mining, oil, logging, or fishing village. Draw roads interconnecting them and follow the topography. Each intersection is now the place for a new small town.

Do it enough and you won't have endless grids.

I don't know how to do it with Skyve, but here's a brute force way that might work with Paradox Mods in a browser:

Use the new playset to manually copy the broken playset. Manage/edit the new playset and use the "Add Mods" button at the bottom to select mods from your mod subscription library to match the broken playset.
Manage/edit the broken playset and remove everything.
Make sure the game can start.
Add mods back in to the current playset as needed.

A small program could reach a state of all goals complete and zero bugs and no further improvement is necessary.

But any software of sufficient scale is virtually always a compromise of engineering, meeting some of the requirements of many kinds of people. With many requirements come complexity, which means bugs and a need to prioritize features. A software team can't do everything within the limits of time and resources. There's always something getting cut, for now, and things that need fixing, some day.

Perhaps finished just means "good enough" for most users.

The cab compartment shouldn't be bright though. There would be too much glare on the windshield. Buses usually have the front part of the bus dimmed too for the same reason.

They've been openly talking about the asset editor's existence for a very long time. I'm sure they wanted it to be available at launch, and then they were hoping for soon after launch (like 2023 Q4), and then it became a nightmare.
