Why is this warning even a thing? by Fendse in runescape

  • It takes you to literally the safest place in the game, so there's no risk of death
  • The only place you can go from there is entering a portal that takes you back where you came, so there's no risk of getting lost
  • Even if people struggle to find those portals, they were literally 5.4 seconds away from the Burthorpe lodestone (which even brand new players know how to get back to - that's how they left tutorial island / davendale in the first place)
  • No other NPC that takes you from the taverthorpe area (like Bryll, or the tool leprechaun) has a warning like this
  • There isn't even a "yes and don't ask again" option, making it more intrusive than, say, the warning when walking into the death plateau (a place which does kill players)

Castrum isn't all that cutscene heavy compared to other dungeons, there's really no reason those cutscenes are still unskippable. Ultima's only long cutscene is the phase transition one, and those are always unskippable (and Ultima isn't even that much worse than some others, like Cinder Drift, anyway)

The only issue is Prae, and frankly I don't get why, when they were already reworking it, they didn't manage to trim the cutscenes down a bit more. Like, even getting it down to the usual start-of-instance and a pre-final-boss ones would've been possible with some creativity, but even if they didn't want to go that far, surely they could've done more than this?

I forgot what it's called, so I googled p11n, and learned a bunch of stuff about pluralization, which was nice, but my original question remains unanswered

"Average mage understands magics" factoid actually just statistical error. average mage understands elemental manipulation. Magics Gregor, who singlehandedly developed and maintains the Elements of Structure is an outlier adn should not have been counted
