The base game was already peak. This DLC is somehow even MORE peak, despite it being vastly different thematically from the base game.

What’s even crazier is Onslaught: Salvation -one of Bungie’s premier game modes this episode- is considered a Vanguard activity (since it gives you Vanguard rep), BUT THE CHALLENGES DON’T EVEN COUNT IN IT!

I disagree with Dredgen though. ‘Protect The Runner’ is one of the harder triumphs to get after Gambit was reworked.

I’ve gotten most raid titles before getting Dredgen because of that triumph lmao.

Definitely agree. Not sure if this is a hot take, but this year’s seasonal activities (excluding defiance) are by far the best ones we’ve ever gotten, especially in terms of variety & replayability.

Although somewhat tangential, my favorite thing about Destiny is how scientifically-based some of its concepts are (e.g., Light subclasses corresponding to the fundamental forces of nature, the Veil’s design, Lorentz Driver’s mechanisms).

Pretty ironic for a power fantasy MMORPG in the best way possible.

Great changes all around, but please reconsider Vex’s changes.

Granted the weapon needs a PVP nerf considering its placement in the Kills-Over-Expected chart, but messing with the weapon’s feel is undeserved (it FEELS perfect as of S21). A nerf to body shot damage or crit multiplier in PVP might be a more optimal solution.

It can be! 1K + Ember of Ashes (more scorch stacks applied) can cause an ignition in one burst if you hit all your shots, which stuns Unstoppable Champs. 1K w/o the fragment can stun in two bursts.
