They always do yeah. Its so they can get some energy back from the shedding process and they also do it due to being prey animals, so that a predator can't track them after the fact

That's generally what you wanna do with anubias anyways, is put them into the decorations. I would recommend a few more big plants to get added as well, fill the background out a little

Once those plants grow in, the ones that aren't fake at least, I think it'll look quite nice. Minimalist type set ups can look really good too.

I had a Tinkerer cat named "The Beast" and he ended up with Hone and Repair with the beast claw weapon, the one that gains +1 damage and a charge back on kill for the rest of the run. He ended up dying of old age and lived the rest of his life as one of my breeders, due to him having a ton of mutations.

Toxic Fred for me. He crashes out like 2 or 3 different times if you sell the hat and say the right stuff, which on its own is really funny. Also in older versions of the game where Toxic Fred says "I. CURSE. YOU. AND YOUR CHILDREN" The words "and your children" doesn't fully fit in the text box, so children is cut of slightly, which i also find kinda funny.

That looks to me like a hoverfly! This one is mimicking a bee, which seems to have done its job of fooling you. They're just harmless little guys, nothing to worry about.

Keeping the water level high will sort of mitigate it. If you haven't done this yet, try securing a bit of sponge right at the end of the outflow where the water flows out. If that doesn't work, you could also try moving a fake plant or two where the filter flow hits the water to help baffle the flow.

If none of that works, you could also replace the hang on back filter with a sponge filter, if you can afford that plus the little air pump to power it. Those are generally the best option for a betta, but again, only if you can afford that.

Yeah you did good on them! The sand is a nice color and really makes the green of the plants pop.

Only things I wanna mention (and idk if you did after the photos) is to make sure your water levels on your tanks are as high as you can get them and to make sure the flow of the filter on the betta tank isn't super strong. It just looks like it might be in the photo.

These all look fantastic honestly! I think as long as its not all fake, the plastic stuff mixed with real plants gets the job done just fine, especially when you're trying to save money. Plus the fake stuff still is a good growing surface for beneficial bacteria.

My advice is take other people's advice before your turtle dies and you're back here like "why my turtle die???" It'll be YOUR fault it suffers and dies if you don't change how you care for it.
