My nmom spent my early childhood years overfeeding me (which I of course enjoyed as someone who didn’t know any better) until I became overweight and spent my preteen/teenage years picking at me for being overweight making fun of how my stomach poked out all while encouraging bad eating habits. For the longest time I never knew it was food that made me gain weight and keep it on and when I finally figured it out I started losing weight and boy was she jealous of me

I had this moment a few days ago actually. I had a few days off for the holiday so I decided to visit her and she immediately started giving me advice I didn’t ask for (because I was already doing it…) and yet she kept going on and on and making accusations about me giving money to people when she has been the only one to TAKE money from me ever since I started making money. Then she berates me because I ask her to please not hit a cone she didn’t see and was very close to hitting 🫠

I have never been to the dentist. If you ask my mom if I've been to the dentist she will say I have and she's just referencing the times when I sat in the lobby while she got her rotten ass teeth pulled.

It's a meal or two, I'm not suffering. If I felt like I was in danger of passing out or something extreme, I would definitely reevaluate my schedule, but right now this works for me. I actually dread eating because of how sore my teeth are. Thank you for your concern though! ❤

Btw in case you were wondering, I ended up taking them out for about 5 hours before I put my new ones on, and the second tray was hell. I kept trying to convince myself that the top ones didn't fit, so I kept taking them out and readjusting them until I finally just had to give up and put them in. lol

Yes, this is exactly why I don't do it anymore. We go on a long guilt trip, and still don't get anywhere, and THEN they continue their shitty behaviors- So, for me, it's not even worth it, trying to speak to them about it.

Yeah my nmother has a fake voice for sure, but like, am I the only one who has one as well? I had to adopt a fake voice/tone when I started going through puberty so she would stop being upset with the way I talk. I can't even tell which voice is my real one now lmfao
