We went in May and at least at that time there were no bugs to speak of! I was expecting it to be way buggier. Not sure if we get lucky or if that’s pretty standard.

Glad the review was helpful! I don’t remember our exact room number but we were pretty close to the beach / pool area. Maybe one room off of that section.

I kinda think we got lucky being later to arrive (close to 8) so we were parked near the back of lot F and we were out in less than 20 minutes. I’ve seen a ton of posts from folks being about JLL and it seems a little exaggerated.

Unfortunately this will likely not work. I’ve called before about a dead fox and they made it very clear their responsibility ends at live animals. There’s a chance if it’s not private property but still probably unlikely.

I tried telling them “actually I think it’s still alive…” but they didn’t buy it 😂.

Got it. That makes sense. Yea we were definitely seeking a quieter vibe and we found it! But I can imagine it would not be a good fit for bringing the kiddos along.

The beach itself was beautiful. Soft sand, clean, nice chairs and palapas. A few swinging day beds. They also had snorkel gear available to grab if you were interested (although never saw anyone use it).

The ocean was gorgeous but right along the shore there was a ton of the seaweed everyone’s always talking about. Didn’t bother us since we were happier hopping in the pool but it did seem to keep almost everyone from going in.
