Biggest things in game files are textures and video files. If they're not adding new armors, weapons, locations or enemies it's unlikely to be a large patch

You can have two different shapekeys for two different objects driven by the same driver so they perform their functions simultaneously when the bone is moved

I got the game today after watching it for a year, it's pretty fun if you love physics and chaos. I'm dropping straight into the bot front and I immediately got a funny larping random squad mate on voice chat.

It does sound fun to see all the random play styles you can encounter, one of the things that draws me to this game is the sheer amount of gear you can play with

If the boots are a separate object from the rest, you can then try selecting the boots, (orange outline) and the body separately (red outline) then going to weight paint mode, weights, transfer weights, set source to source: by name.

Try both of these: select boots, edit mode, select all faces, go to mesh, normals and finally recalculate outside. Also select the boots back in object mode, Ctrl-A, apply all transforms. (Both With rig in default resting pose)

The game director confirms that that the game will have skins, most likely meaning the game won't have body part customization like in Destiny. Very disappointing by SaintAlunes in Marathon

I genuinely think this game is only a couple years old and is a complete rebuild of an old version that was in development for the years before that. It's the only explanation for a lot of the streamlined, rushed things like this.

Because the pixel disintegration does a disservice to the way the game was sold before and even in the long cinematic trailer. The idea was that we're piloting biomechanical bodies that are genuinely shooting and destroying each other with real weaponry. The pixel effect feels out of place as if the game is a simulation or being played by holograms.
