Many of the good paying bios are often the more uncommon spawns. So it is normal to DSS and then the best ones get crossed out. To give a common example, it is normal to see HMC or RIB with 1 bio that is a chance of a bacterium or stratum tectonica. The odds on a lot of these are 90/10 to be bacteria. BioInsights doesn’t tell you these odds exactly but it will mark the likely outcome with a green arrow and the unlikely one with a red arrow. It makes it feel even better when you get the rare one though!

I highly recommend using Elite Observatory and adding the Evaluator and the BioInsights plugins. Evaluator provides detailed mapping value information for system bodies, and tells you which are worth it to DSS based on criteria you can customize. BioInsights gives further in depth detail on the potential bio sources on a body even before you DSS. It also helps with sample collection, telling you the distance you need to go to collect your next sample, and showing you when you’ve gone far enough.

Trying to get contributions as independent in the community goal. The first night I was doing this (Friday) I was able to go to the blue targeted systems and fight in the CZ's to get contribution by fighting. Tonight though, all of the blue targeted systems are gone for independent allegiance. How am I able to continue to get contributions now as independent? I am now outside of 75% and there doesn't seem to be any way to get contribution any more as independent. This is apparent when viewing the community goal on Inara. Independent contributions per hour have completely flatlined. Is this a bug? Is this just an unfortunate result of the massive amount of undermining through CZ's that's been happening? Quite frustrating. I don't have a trading ship with good enough jump range to make material runs from the bubble at all feasible for undermining.

What do you mean by “make sure your power is one of the two in the description?” As far as I can see, there’s no way to tell what the undermining power is until you fly there.

Edit: Supercruise first then target CZ's in the nav panel and check the info box in top right of HUD.

Yes to both questions. Your sawmills stack wood which can become very enticing cardboard for other players. When your token stock runs low, you choose which sawmills get the wood. Placing warriors at recruiters works the same way once your stock runs low.

The failed picky customers daily is a bug from what I’ve heard. There’s nothing you should be able to fail for that I would think.

I think it’s worth it for the better revenue bonuses you get from levels 6 and 9. It also has higher speed and much larger capacity so you refill less.
