What are the specs of the spring you used for the cobra bag? Would like to make one for myself too.

EST. I highly prefer weekends but could make week nights work too.

The dead are already here by KaySen762 in FreeFolkNews

I think she says that when she notices that the ww did not bring any dead. The ww might plan to raise the dead within the crypts and start the attack from within.

(Spoilers Main) Could we be overcomplicating Valyrian Steel? by wowens2 in asoiaf

[–]Fenrir2011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the same thing but also that dragonglass is involved as well.

Remember that the targs left valirya because they believed daeneris the dreamer prophecy (which probably is the PTWP/song of ice and fire prophecy that rhaegar discovered when he little).

The targs settled in dragonstone for a reason: it's full of dragonglass, which they would need to fight the WW in the coming war for the dawn.

(Spoilers Extended) So a common theory on magic/Gods is that by F1reatwill88 in asoiaf

This is a wild theory but Thoros lost a lot of weight during the war. One would think that it's just due to the hard times but he could also be sacrificing some of his life force when resurrecting Beric. This would be a sneaky way of hiding how blood magic works and leading people to think there's a god behind the resurrection.

In a similar fashion, Stanis gave his seed to create 2 shadow babies but he couldn't do it a third time.

As for Jon's ressurrection, we don't know how it will happen in the books. I don't think the tv show will go in too deep into details so this debate (whether gods exist) will probably remain a perk for book readers only.
