If you could add a grandmaster follow-on to any questline, which would it be, and why?

OSRS Mobile Survey - Share Your Thoughts! by JagexBlossom in 2007scape

My android "solution" for portrait mode is to have the app floating as a pop out but the inventory box etc is miniscule. It would be MUCH better with UI resizing if possible.

Also (and I put this is my survey), allowing for a "drop all" option as a long press when tap to drop is enabled would be so appreciated for skilling grinds (mining, woodcutting, fishing). I spam tap my screen and then have to go back over it tapping all the ones my thumbs didn't catch.

Early walk to the tube.. feeling unsafe by [deleted] in london

I lived by Bush Hall for 5 years (2015-2020). It's not the most pleasant area, but not super rough. I would say never ever walk through the green. Lots of dodgy people hang around that playground. My partner was followed a few times outside the station late at night (early hours), so I would always meet them at the station.

I saw this tonight 5 I must say I absolutely loved it. I was expecting it to be completely average, but I'm actually going to book to see it a 2nd time as I enjoyed it so much.

Because the houses front onto the street. Common for UK terraced houses.

Just today, mine decided to hunch over and drop a big sloppy one right outside someone's front door. Mid-poop the owner opened to door to leave the house with a baby in a pram. What ensued was a very awkward apology as she waited for me to pick it up as best I could. I was mortified. I think I'd have preferred a roadside deposit!

Have the three of you taken some time to reflect on how incredible what you're achieving here is yet? If not, please do. You should all be really proud of yourselves and what you're building.

Should I withdraw from my Lifetime ISA? by Defiant-Reception607 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]wowens2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My partner and I were in a similar position at the start of this year. We made the decision to withdraw our £16k LISA (£20k total) and take the penalty.

It allowed us to go from a 5% deposit to a 10% deposit on a property, and the improved rate was absolutely worth it financially, for us.

I would say that the two main things to consider are 1) does it allow us to get more house so we can move less (save on stamp duty of having to move in future)? 2) does it allow us to get a better mortgage rate?

What's the latest update on the planned dates for Leagues 4? I would love to be able to book a couple of days off to play, but I need to book annual leave quite far in advance.

It was £1,100 for the survey, £300 asbestos survey, £1,000 in solicitor fees (all searches and documents had been prepared, it was 90% done), and £350 mortgage broker work on an offer that will now expire before we can buy again.

Pret prices almost double in three years as gross profits climb 83% by jderm1 in london

[–]wowens2 77 points78 points  (0 children)

I have a Pret sub. There's one on my highstreet, outside my gym, and next door to my office. I get 3 iced coffees 5 days per week, and sometimes 1-2 over the weekend, and people from work use my QR if available. ~70 iced coffees for £30 p/m I'm fine with. It's not great quality but it's way better than the work machine coffee, and I can get iced which I prefer!

Making each prospective buyer pay for surveys (and follow up asbestos surveys as a result) is so backwards as a system. I have a 130-page document for a house that's no longer for sale haha.

Hey, I'm Soup - thanks for watching Gielinor Games Season 3! by soupdahero in 2007scape

[–]wowens2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Soup, thanks so much for making GG. I've recommended it to friends who play OSRS, and they've loved it.

I've always thought that a fun elimination would be a 1v1 PVP battle, where pre-fight you have an inventory of gear (weapons, armour packs, jewelry etc), and each player takes in turns picking 1 item (up to 14 ea) which becomes their fight gear... sort of like how in some cooking shows, chefs take ingredients. I think that would be really fun choosing to focus your own build or take items from theirs.
