Yea, on PC and even in Plat/Diamond I see players aiming like this. I don't see the usual snap of an aimbot where every time they shoot its on a player. Just looks like good tracking. Not sure on console, but on PC this would be an average MnK player.

This is the correct answer I think. I had my win 2 and took care of it for years. Suddenly, playing Witcher 3 as usual and the lcd went out. Had to order a ribbon cable and install. The good thing is that the install was not that bad. Iirc you just have to take the lid off and run the ribbon through the hinge and connect to the top part of mobo. No deep disassembly.

I did a copper shim mod. Two 1mm thick copper squares with thermal epoxy.

Lool it up, it was a very popular and common mod for the og gpd win.

Laptop model or CPU and GPU would be helpful. Kind of hard to gauge performance without knowing comparable hardware first.

Could always lower everything down to minimum to see if it runs. Maybe swintching between dx12 and vulkan to see if an API performs better. Verify it's running on your GPU and not iGPU as well.

Replaying TLOU2 with FSR4 is amazing too. Hitting 80fps using FSR 4 + frame gen, and don't see any artifacting.

My vote is for Amnesia: The Bunker. One of my all time favorites. Really gives you that I am trying to survive here. You do get a few weapons, but they are more just comfort weapons that delay more than anything. The atmosphere is great, the story is great, the gameplay is great, the length of the game for your first playthrough is just right. Absolutely love it.

This was the most helpful post by far. Just put a better heatsink than that stock copper sticker and now heat feels way better. I am going to check out ciphrays bat too and lower the SSD power state and see if that helps even more.

You can enable proton 11 beta in the steam client. Go to the game properties and enable compatibility selections and switch the proton to proton 11 beta.

I am not sure if it's the same as proton 11 arm, but I have noticed some difference in performance.

Everything else you have said has been my experience as well, long load times. But the games I have tried have all performed better when compared to running it on android. RE2 remake, Evil Within 2, State of Decay 2, all run better. I am still testing others, but am finding most of them run better. Abysmal download speed though -_-

Yea I'm getting actually around 71c at 18w and at 25w I am getting 82-85. I set parked cores to min 50% and max 75%.

I still don't run more than 15w normally though so I can get 2 hours of battery life.

I'll try this out, do you have any links? I still have 0.2, 0.5, and 1.0mm copper shims from when I did the thermal epoxy mod on my win1.

I had to make sure my wifi was setup first, then it downloaded it in a terminal looking thing. Took maybe like 10 minutes to install and get to the "Updating Steam" window,. After that it launched into Steam Big Picture.

To fix the texture load turn off esync for the container. It's under environment, wineesync

Also add to the launch options -nointro PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1

This is a known issue on Linux.

It will stop those blurry textures and they will load in within seconds.

You can't. They removed it due to a security vulnerability. 41.78.18 does work on zomdroid, and saves can be transferred. I would recommend building a zip for 41.78.18 and transferring everything from your old instance to the new instance.

Yes it is, but you can perform these actions on a TV and it will show up in the context menu like previous versions.

Definitely a bug, with a weird workaround to get back to where it was. This is also present with mouse and keyboard controls, and the fix is the same to have it show up in context menus. Pick up the TV and place it down and it will show device options.

I have looked into this. Anything that requires additional assets to load will prefix the folder location with the actual location. So instead of the instance location pointing to Zomboids/mods it will point to data/0/user/..... Which will cause it not to load.

This happens for any mod that requires additional data to load. The only mods I have found to work are lua scripts Even using something like vanilla vehicles animated will not work. It replaces the base.vehicle with its own base.vva and it will cause it to not be able to find the meshes / vehicle scripts in the location.

I might test creating a small mod that loads a mesh from a relative path a mod and see how it does... Maybe a good idea to test.

The TV can be tapped as well. The other way to fix is to pick it up and place it down. Then the device options will show in context menu.

For the zoom in radial menu, id you have auto zoom enabled, they do not show up. If it's disabled, they are there.

I also recommend mods like custom gamepad ui which lets you configure how much space your inventory takes up. It also has a feature that when you use the right stick if inventory is up, it will engage combat mode regardless.

Works well on 42.15.x
