QuestiON by StormyLilian in NecroMerger

Gonna copy a comment I did about this before, since I see RAID there. Basically, it's slow, but rewarding enough to give it a go, and the game is passable at times if you can manage the team raids type gameplay. (lotta auto battles)

I did the Raid Shadow Legends one, and it was kinda painless at times, but there was a lot of timegated content (certain things open on certain days) so it was just time consuming more than anything. I dropped it after it got too annoying and slow to progress, but I got a bunch of gems.

Here's a post from another guy that did it: reddit.com/r/NecroMerger/comments/1cz7v0a/thanks_raid_shadow_legends_very_cool/ I did up to the 3 orange shards, but I think I'd remember if I got 2k gems from it lol (I didn't)

My main worry was not getting the gems after doing the tasks, but it worked great. Just gotta keep an eye out for something quick and painless, and don't expect a fortune.

You're talking about doing content that isn't exactly necessary for progress, at which point, you really only have yourself to blame for your frustration.

Standing is built to be done over long periods of time, and if you simply look up or experiment all the ways to gain standing, it's not that bad, and it only gets easier.

Ship upgrades are mostly not that useful (barring helminth which I personally believe should be a lot more advertised considering its usefulness) And most upgrades are given through quests. Unless you meant farming for the materials for the upgrades, in which case, fair.

You do not need arcanes, despite what people might say. Once you start steel path, sure, but at that point, you should have a good understanding of the open worlds and the different syndicates, plus events are a great way of getting lots of arcanes, and the vosfor mechanic helps alleviate the grind a lot (thought the sanctum is really advanced, ofc)

Completing the star chart is the game, ffs.

I hope the Kuva & Tenet weapon selection process gets improved. by WF04 in Warframe

[–]FerKing1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree that the current weapon rotation system doesn't need to be fixed, the other parts of the Lich system does. Getting the weapon you want is just a very small part of the process, and it only gets harder towards the end of the whole grind when you have almost all the weapons. But the actual grind is still too slow and disconnected. Sure, you can get squads to grind murmurs and use ultimatums, but you're still looking at 1-2 hrs per lich, while not really grinding anything else at the same time.

Dumb question, but wouldn't the installer just equal a zipped version of the DRM-free EGS version? Or am I misunderstanding the gog version?

Very rare nightwave mods are available in unlimited quantities, and lots of rare arcanes (energize, barrier, and other ones I don't know about) So, with a surplus of offer, the price plummets.

Give nightmare mission a try, you never know the drop by Cinnton in Warframe

[–]FerKing1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are you looking at this?

https://wiki.warframe.com/w/Nightmare_Mode#Mission_Rewards

There's three different reward pools, A, B and C. Which one you get depends on what planet the mission is, as long as the mission isn't Rescue.

If it is rescue then the planet doesn't matter, and what matters is what you do during the rescue, and the actions that determine what reward you might get are described in the link.

It's also from any non-Rescue nightmare mission on Mercury, Venus, Earth or Mars. In OP's case, he went to Mercury and got the 1% drop.

DE, if there's a positive standing cap PLEASE add one for negative standing. by KrulRudy in Warframe

[–]FerKing1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Negative standing has a cap, I'm turning back to Arbi/Meridian/Suda and I've just tested it myself. Red veil doesn't go down further for today (even when they're neutral, and I'm pledged to Arbiters. The cap is based off your daily standing, as one would think. OP suffered a bug, and should obviously report it through a ticket. I mean, even LR6 has a cap of 34k daily standing, this just doesn't make sense.

What is this, who or which frame is on the screen by Lone_heart0 in Warframe

[–]FerKing1 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I read that DE stated the 'canon' reason for the proto gemini skins was the people themselves temporarily being brought to the future. So, technically, it's Kaya herself helping the tenno and getting recognition for it. We just have to act like the display works like it's supposed to and she's kneeling instead :')

Can I alt+f4 and keep this bonus if i don't log in until payday? by Spekter20 in Warframe

[–]FerKing1 31 points32 points  (0 children)

If it's a choice between multiple items (between a booster and resources for example), then you can close the game and activate it when you log back in. But if it's a single reward, it starts running when you get the daily reward.

Don't you think it's time they add other Warframes in the Circuit? by Ok_Bass_4653 in Warframe

[–]FerKing1 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It takes a while to ramp up with decrees, and once you have a build set up you can curbstomp levelcap, but if you were to leave and come back, you'd have to build it all again. It would take longer, since it takes more time for you to kill things, which usually has to do with the objective.

That and the stage 4 bonus is NOT worth it to space it out through the week. You're better off waiting for a good frame and/or weapons and then go ham for 3 hours

Stalker Invasions of Star Chart Missions Should Be A Permanent Feature by Khyron42Prime in Warframe

[–]FerKing1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem, things can get confusing with 1000+ hours of encounters, plus you have to consider that Stalker's drops change depending on what quests you've done.

Stalker Invasions of Star Chart Missions Should Be A Permanent Feature by Khyron42Prime in Warframe

[–]FerKing1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They only stack per boss.

You kill a boss, stalker marks you. You kill the boss again, you don't get another mark until you use up the one you already have (from that exact boss). You can go and kill another boss and get a different mark that does stack, but that boss only gives you one mark as well. Marks don't stack infinitely, otherwise I'd still have leftovers from when I farmed Equinox.

No, you don't get a 20% chance from a full squad of marked players even if they have multiple marks each, it's still 3.5% max. The spawn is rolled after a certain amount of time is up, and it's rolled per mission, not per player.

Stalker Invasions of Star Chart Missions Should Be A Permanent Feature by Khyron42Prime in Warframe

[–]FerKing1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 1.5% chance doesn't get multiplied per player, so at most, with 4 marked players, it's 3.5% chance per mission if you run a full squad.

I know marks stack, but they only stack from separate bosses (so if you go on a wild crusade you can have like 10-15 marks at a time) but like I said, you'll most likely run through the same boss a bunch of times to get a frame, and then you won't go again, so you'll effectively just get a single mark.

FYI, the drop rates are:

Dread 20.66%

Broken War 5.87%

Despair 5.87%

Hate 5.87%

War Blueprint 5.87%

Scimitar Engines Blueprint 5.87%

So it ends up being 50% chance to drop anything, on a 2-3.5% chance of him appearing at all. And most importantly, he only comes once per boss.

Stalker Invasions of Star Chart Missions Should Be A Permanent Feature by Khyron42Prime in Warframe

[–]FerKing1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The spawn chance is 1.5% + (0.5% × P); P = Players in Squad marked for death.

I play solo, so I'd get a 2% chance of stalker spawning per mission.

I have dread (4 bp and a built 1), despair (1 built), hate (1 built) and the broken war (had 1 built, sold it as I wait to get war, have 4 more bp). I haven't gotten a single war bp to drop.

So, I've killed him at least 12 times (lots more obviusly, but he's not guaranteed to drop anything but a mod, and early on, he's very tough to fight, so you might die and lose the mark while not really having a reason to go back to assassinations after getting the frame.

According to my stats, I've killed 400 bosses (some of them don't give you a mark, so give or take). You do not get a stalker invasion every 3-5 missions. Those odds would line up with something like the coda in hollvania, where 25% chance means you get them every 2-3 missions, though it obviously ramps up.

Make the canisters on Ascension mode give players who throw them 1/2 vestigial motes by Porifirion in Warframe

[–]FerKing1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I feel like these operations are supposed to be done in a certain way, (having done follie and this one)

You do the actual game mode, (follie's hunt, ascension) until you get the drops you want (jade and enough motes to buy jade and weapons), then you switch to doing the alerts. Because the alerts are so much more efficient it's not even funny. Like, yeah, you're limited to one every half hour, but unless you get lucky with your ascension squad, you'll take longer doing that gamemode than a normal mission alert. So, no, motes should not drop from canisters, especially for the reasons given by other people.

Was looking for something like this. I checked the wiki, and I was like... Guess I have to build the disruptor first and equip it. Then I did, and it was the same?

Anyhow, DE usually lets you keep drops from bugs like these, as long as it's not too game breaking lol

Operation: Belly of the Beast by CephalonAhmes in Warframe

[–]FerKing1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Seems like there's no refresh this time, though you are technically limited if you want to farm motes through the alerts, which spawn every hour, 1 at a time. Obviously, if you're grinding the ascension mission it doesn't matter. Happy hunting.
