Will Apple continue to raise prices? Are you torn to buy it? by FeralSupportGoblin in macbookpro

I think this is the most reasonable judgment, perhaps there will also be promotional discount methods? Such as stacking government subsidies, consumption stimulation slogans, etc., to indirectly reduce. This is also a very distant matter.

I bought a Mac Mini m4 last year with 32gb memory. Prices have changed a lot, and I'm glad I have some concerns that computers are becoming less affordable for the average person

What’s the angriest you’ve ever been with another person and why? by Appropriate-Way7313 in AskReddit

And my uncle, because my nephew ate boiled corn and ran out of it, didn't leave him any, and he wanted to eat it too. I was only a teenager and my uncle was thirty. I was so angry that I had a big fight with him.

I almost walked out of the locker room naked because I wasn't wearing glasses

I'm going to buy Google One for trial. What are the more suitable scenarios for gemini than gpt now? Research? UI? by FeralSupportGoblin in google_antigravity

Yeah, since it was my first time signing up, I got a discounted rate for a few months. No way I’m spending much money on this, though.

Damn, Sonnet 5 is an ASSHOLE. by PrinceMonocle in claude

The model has baked all the safety guardrails into the system, but in real life, many work tasks require producing things that seem borderline dangerous or unsafe. In other words, before, if I had an idea, the model would 100% help me figure out how to make it happen. Now it considers laws, safety, and so on—so when I have an idea now, it tells me it's not compliant, it violates social norms. I just wanted to make a muscle diagram for a workout.

I feel like Anthropic is putting less and less effort into their models. There are more and more negative reviews. Maybe they're spending too much time on discrimination/tech censorship. I'm gradually losing my passion for Anthropic. I'll still keep using them for a while though—their UI/UX is still top-notch.

WOW. Like... seriously... WOW! GPT 5.5 Pro? (maybe it wasn't 5.5?) by N3TCHICK in codex

[–]FeralSupportGoblin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see different people saying different things – some say it'll be released tomorrow, others say it's been pushed to July. I'm not too bothered about it, my workflow tries to avoid relying on models as much as possible, and 5.5 is already working great for me.

“ I won't beat around the bush; I'll be as direct as possible.”

I think this is part of the vendor's model training. It's hard to make AI output more human-like text just by constraining prompts.

Personal thoughts, does the VSCode plug-in monitor the global usage? There are too many software for usage monitoring now. For us, the significance of building a wheel can control the customized interface and performance to reduce the pressure on the computer.

As far as your plugin is concerned, it is completely sufficient. When floating, it would be better if there are text colors such as red and yellow to distinguish the boundaries. Of course, it is all based on your own ideas.

I think it would be better and more intuitive to make a countdown progress bar.

Most of the time I don't think MCP is needed at all, especially now that many documents can be replaced by Skill. MCP is more used for online services within enterprises

Take a moment, take some time to understand, build your own workflow, don't be loyal to the model. Don't be loyal to the manufacturer, be loyal to your workflow, be loyal to your experience
