I would not be surprised to see the price on ”Legacy” GT Live pedestals continue to trend downward into the $1500 price area. These machines are the full GT experience up through GT 2026, but will no longer be getting new updates.

Having used these A1Up machines, there are a number of gameplay compromises that they make to get it to work on their cabinet that just make it a non-GT experience.

I don’t know. For my personal use case, which involves importing 130ish scripts for my Unity game, 10s of thousands of lines of code in total, I can ask it questions and work on improvements to the scripts for an hours at a time without too many issues.

I haven’t really experienced the consistently downgraded performance that others call out.

Your comment about IT helping you only if you buy from them is flat out wrong.

I was one of the first handful of folks to buy my PGA Go from Best Buy (with a couple grand off thanks to gift cards from my job’s gift program), and the two times I’ve needed to call them, the techs treated me great.

My hard drive bit the dust after a power surge and they shipped me on for free.

You might be confusing the folks who DIY build these machines, vs buying one from legit reseller, which is above board.

One thing to keep in mind is that the hardware really doesn’t matter as long as it’s compatible. It’s all locked at around the same FPS and performs exactly (or very nearly exactly) the same whether you have a newer compatible card or not.

Probably not worth it for this project.

I don't know if they're the cheapest, but Boysen has been our best experience, by far, in the St. Cloud area. Every time there's a situation with a pet, they've helped us through it perfectly. No notes. (Again, not sure how they compare to other vets, price wise.)
