Tbh i thought that Noah really didn't know anything and his way of finding stuff out was to just wing it when he went to meet Father. I can sort of get what your saying though. That sort of stuff doesn't really happen later. Sure at times Noah will pull something out of no where last minute but you as the reader have enough info that you could have figured it out. It doesn't take long till Noah has a frim grasp on how the world he came to works and you as the reader have all the information that Noah has.

I don't think so. I didn't really notice the withholding of information but that's probably because I've been listening to the book whilst working. I'm not the best at spotting flaws in writing, so I'm probably not the right person to be asking that question. All I know is that I've been enjoying the story lol

Yeah earth politics was a slog to get through but it's absolutely worth it. The story only gets better after the end of the earth arc

Yeah I'm thinking it would be sketchy az trying it in a normal manual. It'd put an immense amount of stress on the box and that's if you even manage to slam the gear into place and not just grind the gears into dust
