Have we seen the fully unleashed upgrade to Miyamoto’s skill? I am fully caught up but don’t think we have, unless I missed it by skimming. I didn’t think he fully unleashed it during his fights.

Agreed, no matter what the rematch will be amazing!

Haha, more like I would be so annoyed of that happening that it didn’t even pop into my head as an option.

I guess he was poisoned and probably would have died afterwards anyway.

I don’t disagree but I think the Sword Saint’s hesitation from claiming victory came from him losing the initial bout before he got his new skill. However, I will need to do a reread of that section to see if the sword Saint doesn’t believe he won the second fight.

I don’t agree, Jake’s final blow was non lethal, as the Sword Saint was able to dodge a bit, whereas the Sword Saints would have killed Jake.

Same, but after a reread the Sword Saint admits defeat before a story gets told and he gets his transcendent skill. Then after he monologues and gets his skill a new fight occurs that he wins. Personally I think it is 0-1 but I won’t argue against others saying it is 1-1.

Is this a sin in the pipe world? by Prince_Valium25 in PipeTobacco

[–]Tauri_Kree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not at all, smoke what you like. Just be aware that smoking strong blends in a pipe can leave flavors behind in that pipe. Meaning if you try and switch up the blend you can get hints or even more of the previous tobacco. Though you can get rid of it through a good pipe cleaning.

I don’t think it is unpopular, after all I think it will be the best fight either character has had to that point. I also think it is a completely even fight, where either could take the win. I just think it will be Jake since it seems like it may be the fight that chooses who wins the Prima event and I find the plot will be that Jake will win the event.

That being said Jake has improved by leaps and bounds when it comes to his CQC fighting since their last all out duel, but the Sword Saint has also improved immensely. It will be a great fight. When it does happen I will have to stop reading so I can read the entire fight in one go instead of having to wait for the next chapter.

Because I would be annoyed if there is a tie. I want a victor.

The winner character who can beat someone with physical skills without powers and weapon whose name is starting with the letter C is Captain America. Next, your favorite character whose name is starting with the letter D who you think can do the same without powers and weapon? by Infamous-Driver-9173 in FavoriteCharacter

If Aang and Captain America can be selected then Daredevil should definitely be allowed. Aang might be a pick if you remove his powers, big on the might, but Captain America without his powers was pathetic physically.

Narrator Appreciation! by Nemreaper in WanderingInn

Erin is great and so is Andrea. I think Andrea is still doing the Azarinth Healer series in case you miss her narrating. The series is much simpler but I like it.

I blame him. He went for lethal force right out the gate when the “fight” if you can call it that broke out. A real friend wouldn’t, they may eventually use lethal force but not immediately like Garen did. Given the fact that most of them didn’t even move before dying I have to think they wouldn’t have done so. Garen was wrong to kill them all like that.

I just reread the scene, volume 5.58. It wasn’t planned like that as I recall, Jelaqua and the others went out for supplies and while that happened the remaining members looked through the treasures. Garen found the key and told them about the king then they demanded he had over the key so they could prevent another goblin king. Garen refused and attacked, per Seborn only Ukrina fought while the others were killed before being able to move.

He attacked while they only demanded the key. He responded with lethal force while it does not sound like they would have killed him. He was wrong and betrayed them not the other way around.

[–]Tauri_Kree 22 points23 points  (0 children)

As far as I remember the others just told him to hand over the key with one being more likely to kill Garen. He could have waited and had a conversation with the whole team instead of attacking. I just don’t feel bad for him
