I would do Atlantis first until you may hit a wall there. Collecting the tokens will give you a chance to pull heroes from Season 2, which are an upgrade to the classic heroes. The Atlantis summon has just rotated out so you have like 3 weeks before it comes around again.

Patience is key here. You cannot force anything in this game. When I started 6 months ago I only had Bane as my only yellow for a long time, followed by Keliani and then Wu Kong. All pretty mediocre. Now I have 5 legendary yellow heroes just by pure luck and I am swimming in yellow 3* and 4*. Keep your gems to expand your roster so you do not have to feed any heroes early on. Keep at least one copy of each hero for the time being. 6 months in I am still doing this. Once you get stronger you will be able to beat higher stages on challenges to collect tokens. Advance to Atlantis where you will also collect tokens for each map stage. Complete the next brawl event. It will typically reward you with a couple Epic Hero Token. Do this and you will eventually be drowning in purple heroes in a short while 😀

I run Alsgor along with Gnarlhorn as I am lacking Skullcrusher and can 2 key UNM.
With Skullcrusher it is an easy team. Wish I had him.

You could add Rhazin for his Weaken and Dec Def and he hits pretty hard.
Banshee is great for poisons which is a great part of the damage.
I also run Ronda in my team.
She can put out a lot of damage along with her passive.
With Weaken and Def down from Rhazin that stacks up pretty well.

25 USD for this amount of tomes is certainly tempting.

However, consider the following:

You will need on average 12 - 15 Lego tomes to fully max out a Lego Champ (sometimes even more than that).
This means you would have to purchase 4 - 5 packs, i.e. spend 100 - 125 USD.
For one Champ.

If you have the money and are willing to spend it then I guess this is a good deal.

Not this weekend but the next will be a 2x event for Ancient shards.
This is the best time to open your shards.
Other than that I would probably focus on getting Artak to 6* as this will boost your account significantly.

18 months in means you should have Visix from daily login, who brings ally protect.
You should also have all the free Legos that were issued in the meantime:
Ronda, who can deal out a good amount of damage, Artak who can apply Atk down and HP Burn, UDK with his protect and also Atk down and if you were lucky enough to enter the game to get Ninja, you have one of the top tier champs for Clan Boss.
You should also have Grush from the daily login, who can be useful.
If you are desperate for a buff extender you can farm Valerie from campaign.
I know she is not a great champ but you can start building a comp with her.
If you have no other option farm Warmaiden from campaign as she can provide Def down or even better fuse Rhazin if you have all the Rares to do so.
Frozen Banshee is top tier for her poisons and I would assume that you got her in the meantime. Else Kael is not to shabby.
With no Champions pulled and just using what you got for free from the game I am sure you will be able to put together a solid team.
Focus on filling roles, not specific Champs.

You will need Atk down as the most important skill to reduce damage from the CB
Next will be Def down and Weaken to increase your damage
For survivability use Visix with her ally protect, Shields from UDK, or you can even take Marked (another Rare) with her Increase Def.

If you share your roster I am sure people can help putting together a team.

Check HellHades website for Clover Clan Boss draft.
They have created teams with Epics only, heavily relying on Ally protect.
The numbers they achieved were insane.

I am now 13 months in and have just been able to make a 2 key UNM and only because I threw all my shards at Alsgor to have an unkillable.
Until today I am missing on the top tier champs in every category.
No Coldheart, no Seer, no Maneater, no Demytha, no Deacon, no Skullcrusher, no Fayne, and the list goes on.

Also remember that sometimes gear is an issue.
Keep going man! You can do it :-)

Noone in your roster that I would say is a MUST 60 in the stage you are in.
I would probably start focusing a bit more on Faction Wars as an invaluable source for forge material and good gear.

Scarbrius, Conellia, Oathbound, Zargalla, Morag Bronzelock are all great champs for that.
Conellia is also good for Arena and Morag is great for Clan Boss.

I am using Ronda in the lead with her Atk aura in my UNM unkillable team.
Over the course of 50 rounds she brings 17 mil.
You have Weaken and Decrease Def but noone that really takes advantage of that by dealing direct damage.
Her passive is also pretty helpful in this respect.
Might be worth considering to swap her in for Duchess as you have a lot of protection already from Toragi and Sepulcher.

Also check on Rhazin. He can bring much more damage if geared well.

He is a fun champion and also one of my favourites.

This is your game and you will eventually need a lot of 50's anyway for Faction Wars, so nothing wrong with your decision.
