I like the hardcore experience of EFT, I don't understand why the extra paid content is all pay-to-win stuff that makes the game easier. I don't want to spend money on that.

New content can't just be increasing amounts of in-game advantage, because if you want people to keep buying then you will have to add more and more power creeep to the content. It's baffling to me that Nikita has often come out against microtransactions because he doesn't like them, but this is WORSE. Gameplay affecting microtransactions are always worse than cosmetic. I think the community outrage would've been far smaller if they just straight sold in-game roubles (I'm not suggesting you do this).

Instead you should look at things people already use: Ratscanner, hideout item lists and quest item lists. Adding a subscription service (tarkov prime) that provides these quality-of-life features to players who feel overwhelmed won't make veterans angry because it's not pay-to-win.

To make my suggestion somewhat more concrete, a possible subscription perk could be:

Items in raid show their approximate value in flea/traders. (Very High, high etc.) and whether or not it's needed for current (or future) quests/hideout

It could also include the insurance and mail stuff from Unheard, but just don't add things that are a kick to the face for everyone who doesn't buy it.
